Focus on meaning
Like what I have always say, I would love to do something different for every single couple. When I first met Bess and Steve, I knew that they are meant to be a very special pair. Except for creating some breathtaking images, I knew we can do something meaningful and memorable in their prewedding sesson. Something really special.
Knowing that they met in a painting class in Art Center, I had an idea in my mind. What’s better than having their own gown painted by themselves for two the painters? Thus I called one of my partners, who is one of the best Gown Designer in town–Ms. Noel Chu,to ask for her help. After several months of preparation meetings and discussions, finally we worked out the plan. I divided the shoot to two days: with the first day for the drawing session and the second day for the outdoor shoot. Through my images, I recorded how they have created uniqueness in their wedding, and obviously they enjoyed the process! It’s unique and meaningful. It’s actually one of my most happiest shoot!
Special thanks to Noel for the helping hands!
What do you want from me? No solid answer as usual…haha! Perhaps it’s difficult to tell, so I made a guess on what they really want. I hope you will like them, Heidi and Derek. Enjoy! **********
It was a photo session under 37 degree celsius — definitely hard.
It was a photo session with the groom got sunstroke — undoubtedly unforgettable.
It was a photo session with everybody jumped into the water — certainly challenging.
Yes, Charles and Hing Yi’s photo session was a really tough one. However, looking at these shots, everything was repaid. Enjoy, Hing Yi and Charles!
Mag and Sam have already got a set of pre-wedding photos shot earlier this year. When I met them, they said they would love to have something different and special from me, though they didn’t have a clear idea on HOW special should that be. Challenging, huh?!?
SO..what I did was shuffluing through my iPhone and eventually, I found the song “Kiss Me” the day before the shoot. LOVE IT, and I decided to make it the theme of the day. Thus, they have been kissing ALL DAY LONG!!! A memorable day of non-stop-kissing. Haha. I guess that was special enough for them to remember life-long!
So, congratulations again, Mag and Sam. I do hope that both the day and the pictures are special enough for you two. Enjoy the video!**********
It was the only avaiable day before setting off for my Australian shooting project.
It was forecasted that howling wind and thunderstorms would be frequent.
Thought it would be a really hard shooting job.
It turned out to be a great day with soothing breeze and beautiful sky.
It turned out to be one of my best-liked shooting experiences.
My deepest appreciations to the trust from the gorgeous pair, Mill and Ken.
IN LOVE, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.
